The Goldgrube is located at a quiet spot at the edge of National Park
Hohe Tauern where you can walk, climb mountains, go for a swim in our
own poll, play tennis on our own tennis court, go out riding, mountain
biking, rafting and canyoning, paragliding, skiing, cross country but most
of all relax.
The kids can do some Goldwashing, play in the playground, we have a
dog playground as well, you can have a romantic BBQ at the river side
you can have a marvellous holiday indeed.
The small village of Bucheben is located in the 30-km, sunny Rauris
valley. We are a Dutch family who settled down in this fantastic
environment in 2005. Our cosy apartments are nestled in the Hohe
Tauern National Park at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level at the
foot of the 3105 m Sonnblick.
The slightly unusual name "Goldgrube" (Goldmine) dates back to the
50's, when the last professional gold washer still lived here. Gold
washing championships still take place in the region today. You can try
your luck at the Hütwinkl Creek that runs past the house. |

Hohe Tauern. The perfect place to unwind and relax.
You can do the culture part of your holiday in Salzburg city, the
touristic thing in Zell am See, Bathing thing and work on your Health in
Gastein, the sporting, relaxing, the natur things right at our front door.
